Dr. Cook is the director of the division of rheumatology at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2017. She earned a master’s degree in clinical research from Case Western Reserve University and a medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency at Akron Children’s and a fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, as well as a fellowship in academic medicine at Northeast Medical Ohio University. Dr. Cook specializes in pediatric rheumatology, including JIA, vasculitis, JDM, lupus, periodic fever syndromes and autoinflammatory syndromes. She is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric rheumatologist and a member of several professional organizations including the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance and the Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group.
