Dr. Riley has been in practice since 2014. He joined Akron Children’s as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. After receiving his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, he went on to complete a residency at Summa Health Systems and a fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard. Dr. Riley has a special interest in sports injuries of the hip, knee, ankle, elbow and shoulder, as well as dance medicine, throwers shoulder and elbow and pediatric skeletal trauma. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons with a specialty board certification in orthopedic sports medicine. He’s also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and charter member of Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine.
