Dr. Mansel is a pediatric hospitalist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been practicing since 2007. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. Dr. Mansel has a special interest in pediatric procedural sedation, medical education and patient safety. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Association of Pediatric Program Directors and the Society for Pediatric Sedation. Additionally, she’s a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
