Dr. Mahesh is Immediate past-president of the medical staff at Akron Children’s. She attended medical school at the Topiwala National Medical College & BYI Nair Charitable Hospital in Mumbai, India. She completed her pediatric residency at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, N.Y. and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the Children’s Hospital of Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. She’s certified in pediatrics with a subspecialty certification in pediatric nephrology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Mahesh is the Dr. Noah Miller Endowed Chair in Pediatric Medicine and clinical associate professor, pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association.
