Dr. Wyneski is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Akron Children’s. He’s been practicing since 2009. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. Dr. Wyneski went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He has a special interest in celiac disease, IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Wyneski is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric gastroenterology and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Additionally, Dr. Wyneski has contributed to numerous presentations and publications on topics related to gastroenterology. For his work and contributions to academia, he’s received many awards including the Akron Children’s Golden Apple Teaching award in 2009-2010, and each of the following 5 years.
