Dr. Abou-Fadel is a pediatric gastroenterologist with Akron Children’s. She’s been in practice since 2020, joining Akron Children’s in 2021. She attended medical school at University of Balamand Faculty of Medicine, Beirut, Lebanon. She completed a residency in pediatrics at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. Abou-Fadel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the American College of Gastroenterology.
